Working together is definitely Reba McEntire and Rex Linn's happy place.
The real-life couple and Happy's Place costars embark on an outdoorsy adventure in E! News' exclusive sneak peek at the NBC comedy's Nov. 8 episode.
In the preview, Emmett (Linn) whisks Bobbie (McEntire) away for a fishing trip in an effort to get his boss' mind of their bar.
"When you said we were going fishing, you did mean today, right?" a bored Bobbie asks as Emmett fixes a fishing pole before discovering her employee's massive stock of beer in the fridge. To which she adds, "Whoa! I guess you wanted to be ready in case a thirsty biker gang showed up."
With business still on her mind, Bobbie then says, "I'm just gonna check on the tavern and make sure everything's running smoothly, which I doubt," before Emmett informs her, "No cell service out there."
Infuriated, she fires back with, "What kind of a person has a fishing shack with no cell service?!" to which Emmett dryly retorts, "A person that likes to fish."
He further assures Bobbie, "The tavern will survive without you for one day, I swear. This is your chance to relax and enjoy life."
Her response? "Oh yeah, I'm in a smelly fishing shack with a man who talks less than an auctioneer on his day off," she quips. "Life is good!"
But when Bobbie notes, "The sooner we fish, the sooner I can get back to the tavern and make sure it hasn't burned to the ground without me," thunder booms and it starts to rain.
Emmett adds, "Well, looks like we're not going to be going anywhere for a little bit."
See the hilarious exchange in the preview above. Happy's Place airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
